Stilaro was born of the desire to create a purely aesthetic and unconventional product. To do this, Sottini went back to first principles of the ceramicists art and undertook explorations on cley to fathom its limits and understand how far it could be de-formed. and, crucially, experimented with decreasing thicknesses. Inspired by japanese minimalism and the forms of the earth, the result is an abstract articulation of enveloping, exotic leaves, the luid, asymmetrical shape has distinctly calming effect as it caresses the changes the water in natural ways. Stilar is revolutionary. Stilaro is unique.
