The measures, which were recommended by the National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET), were confirmed by Taoiseach Micheál Martin. The new measures came into play from midnight (7 August) and will last for two weeks.
Micheál Martin confirmed the news on Friday, saying: “We will have setbacks. Every day we read about countries which thought they have defeated the virus but see the need to reimpose restrictions.”
A slight delay may occur on some deliveries, but we are doing the best we can under these unforeseen circumstances.
